Coaching programme gets another Kickstart

David Akinfe is the latest addition to the Manchester Magic and Manchester Mystics coaching programme.

Thanks to funding from the government’s Kickstart Scheme, the 22-year-old will be assisting in the club’s community and elite basketball set-ups for the next six months.

David will also be working hard behind the scenes to maintain the club’s facilities and equipment, as well as preparing the courts for weekend games.

He joins former Magic junior player and current senior Malachi Boakye-Yiadom, who recently passed his Level 2 coaching qualification and is now helping lead the club’s new partnership with The Manchester College.
